Dancing Queens

We had a ward talent show and decided to lip sync and dance to ABBA's daning queen.

We had so much fun. It was a little embarrassing but entertaining. I will say that my neck hurt for 2 days after practicing the head spin.
Believe it or not I really did do the splits. It was all or nothing.

ABBA eat your heart out. These are my friends Regina Stoddard, Me, and Stephanie Bott.

Of course Brendan was very impressed with the dancing of his mother and her friends so he tried on the costume. I think he is pretty funny.

Russell turns 15

It seems like only yesterday when we brought this happy boy home.

I guess he started out big and ready to go.

I just thought I would post a few pictures to remember how far Russell has come.

Of course he has always liked the girls...he also has good taste.

This is Russell holding Brock when he was just a baby.

Russell had a cruch on this cute girl in kindergarten

We took Russell and some friends to a UVU basketball game. I think Russell enjoyed telling stories more then watching the game.
The Wolverine even stopped by to see Russell. Brendan did enjoy the game, but as you can see UVU could use more FAN Support.

He got a Texas Longhorns coat.

One of the things he got for his birthday. He mostly got $$$$.

Happy 15th birthday Russell! Where does the time go?

Surprise Birthday

Yes it is official, I turned 40. I can't believe that 40 sneakes up on you as fast as it does. Lance was amazing and planned a surprise party. He made all of the plans and I had no idea. He planned it for Saturday and my birthday was on a Tuesday, so I was SURPRISED.

Brendan thought it was great to have balloons. He also loved the sign that said over the hill and wanted his picture taken. I had him take my picture so why not have his taken as well.

These are some of our friends. This is Mark and Regina. Mark usually has a full head of hair but he shaved it because his Halloween costume.

Russell, Brock, and Peyton playing around. We played games and had a lot of fun.

More friends Chad and Stephanie.

This is Heather. We had pizza, salad, cake and icecream.

The kids really like Chad and Stephanie. I think it is because they don't have any kids of their own yet so they are nice to other people's children. In the picture are Ella, Chad, Steph, Brendan, and Rosy. It was a great day. Before the party some friends and I went and saw Mama Mia. I loved the movie, it was GREAT.

Rock Climbing

Russell and Brock went rock climbing for a youth activity. I think it was a couple of months ago but I just got the pictures

Russell enjoying the climb. I enjoy the fact that I no longer have to go and see what things go on at the activities.

Russell is in the Longhorns shirt and Brock is in the red sitting on the rock.

I can't remember who went the highest, but I know they all had fun.

School Pictures

Well I just thought I would put the boys school pictures on here. Brendan looks a little nervous, but I didn't know what would happen with retakes.

I just want to show proof that Brock does smile.

Of course Russell is always happy to have his picture taken.

Halloween

Heather and myself at the Trunk or Treat. The Monk and the Gypsie.

Brendan and Peyton at the trunk or treat. The 2 Pirates. I left work early so I could take the kids trick or treating downtown. I decided that there were too many people and we would just have fun at home. Rosy was fire and I think she looks the part.

They decided to put leaves on the trampoline and jump around.

The pumpkin that we all helped to carve. They told me what to do and I attempted to do it.

Rosy and Brendan decided to make a pumpkin of their own. I was tired of the carving so it was fine by me.
A day at the office. The day is still young but I am trying to put some things on here. This is my friend Stephanie and myself. We both work at UVU. She helped me get my costume.

I am supposed to be a monk.

This is the before school picture. Brendan is a pirate. He is excited for halloween.

Hanging in St.George

We went to St. George (Oct. 24,25) so Lance could play in a softball tournament with his cousins and brothers. We stayed in a hotel and of course, had to do a lot of swimming. The three amigos. Brendan thinks he is as big as his brothers.

We decided that Brock might be allergic to the chlorine. His eyes were swollen and red and hurt. Our solution...googles.

Russell was trying to catch a little sun on his white little body.

They get along most of the time. I like these pictures becasue they all look so nice. Too bad looks can be deceiving:)

Just Brock goofing off.

Russell is having a serious swim.
Last year in the tournament Lance's team took 2nd place. They played well this year but finished early. It is fun to have an excuse to see family and friends. Lance took the boys out with Chace and Aubry and I went and visited with Michelle.

They kept jumping off the side all together. Brendan even took off his floaties. He can swim but not for as long as he thinks he can. We had a lot fun.

Saying Goodbye to Lesa

I know this picture isn't that great, but it is the only one I have of Lesa and the boys. She took them out to a movie and dinner before she headed back to Saudi Arabia. She also smashed the front of her car and said she was going to blame Russell. He does get a learning permit after his birthday in November. When did I get old enough to have a child that can drive? I also think that Brock is smiling.

Crazy Boys

We were going through the cupboards and found Brendan's old eye patches. Russell and Brock thought they would see what it was like wearing a patch.
Luckily Russell crawled into the room so he wouldn't fall down. I guess he didn't trust me to lead him anywhere. He thought it would be funny to cover both eyes.
